Pronounced gwa sha, gua sha is a natural and ancient self-care beauty ritual, that originated in China. This facial treatment involves meticulously sweeping the skin with a flat gemstone in upward strokes to help stimulate microcirculation of the soft tissue, which increases blood flow and encourages lymphatic drainage.
